O CANADA?
Yes! After being a closet Canadian for many years, we moved to BC in response to the gravitational pull of our grandchildren (and their parents.) Now I’m taking on Canadian enjoyers of really, really good coffee. We are happy to be here, and we thank Canada for choosing us to be new Permanent Residents. It’s a rare privilege, and we appreciate our new country.
How does this impact the website? The whole thing except for the purchase page is the same. The only thing that’s different is that I’m adding a page for Canadians who want to buy from the website. Of course, the nature of my business is to make a relative few very happy instead of aiming to please everyone. Trying to balance this all out will take awhile, but in the mean time, the takeaways are:
- I’m still roasting for Americans. You can buy from the website or by emailing/phoning/texting me and paying by Venmo in the USA or Interac in Canada. The number is 604-203-8581. Email is [email protected].
- I’m close enough to the border that I can (still) pop over to the USA often enough to ensure that your coffee is going to get to you fresh.
- If you don’t see what you want on the Monthly TEN List, ask. Chances are I have it but just haven’t listed it. I’m all about your choices.
- Shipping is $5 USD for American orders; $10 CDN for Canadian mail orders (I won’t be accepting these until the Canada Post strike is over.)
- If some function on the website doesn’t work right, I’d appreciate it if you would call, text, email or send an owl.
Thank you for letting me do this very special kind of art!
